The 2011 CEDIA Expo is returning to the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 11 – 13. It is hard to believe that CEDIA Expo is upon us again and this year we have doubled the size of our CEDIA stand to show off Crestron’s product developments.
In addition we are hosting manufacturer training offering a more detailed presentation of selected product groups. Below are some of the highlights you can expect to see on our stand.
3-Series Control System™
The MC3 is the first Crestron processor to feature the all new Core 3 control engine. With more processing power, more memory, onboard media rendering, on-screen display and built-in infiNET EX® wireless gateway, the MC3 is the future of Crestron processing and available today!
Prodigy™
Shipping now for around 18 months, Crestron’s most affordable product range Prodigy, has just received some significant updates including harnessing the new Core 3 power to integrate with the entire Crestron product range! Other new Prodigy developments include:
• Wireless in-line lighting dimmers and relays for retrofit installation
• New wired and wireless keypads for audio and lighting
• Multi-Cast: simple processor-to-processor communication over Ethernet
• Increased power: add more devices to a single processor including up to 6 mobile devices (any combination of iPhone®, iTouch®, iPad® or PC/Mac control)
• Weather Service: free weather and forecast display for all Prodigy interfaces including mobile devices
Sonnex™
Sonnex is Crestron’s new generation of advanced multi-room audio distribution. Featuring audiophile-grade high-efficiency amplifier design, Crestron has been able to combine 24 input / 8-room audio matrix and high power amplifiers (140 watts / 8 ohms, 240 watts / 4 ohms all channels driven!) into a single compact chassis which generates very little heat. With an exclusive one-wire digital bus technology, Sonnex can be expanded up to 74 zones over CAT5e shielded twisted-pair wire cable, greatly hardware and cabling requirements of traditional systems.
Procise™
Awarded “Best Preamp Processor” at CEDIA Atlanta by CE Pro, Procise is true hi-end surround-sound processing and amplification that is turning the esoteric audio world on it’s head. Procise features studio grade circuitry and other commercial capabilities that make it equally at home in a luxury home theatre, corporate boardroom, auditorium or any high grade multimedia facility.

DigitalMedia™ (DM)

Touchpanels and Interfaces
New panels include the new TPMCV-series 12” and 15” panels which are available in desktop, in-wall or VESA mount versions. The TPMCV touchpanels integrate the graphics engine into a fanless panel less than 2 inches deep. Also new is the stunning 9” widescreen TPMC9 series available in desktop and in-wall versions.

To compliment the already comprehensive range of DIN-rail hardware, this show sees the highly anticipated release of the new Cameo Ascent solid metal keypad faceplates.
